Tweeter/waveguide measurements

Measurements of various tweeter and waveguide combinations

Satori TW29TXN-4 in WG

Initial crossover LR4 1500Hz at the right. This looks very good, no problem to use this combo in real implementation. There is also parallel RLC to supress tweeter breakup above 20kHz.

Satori TW29DN in Jantzen WG

Overall these are very promising results.

For tweeter without WG more careful baffle placement would improve 3000-4000Hz diffraction.

Tweeter + WG, this is very nice performance and better edge treatment would provide even more linear response. 0-60deg separation is 5dB at 2000Hz, which is perfect directivity match for the most 7" midwoofers.

Tweeter without WG, baffle tilt 12deg, H 0-90deg

Tweeter + WG, baffle tilt 0deg, H 0-90deg

Tweeter + WG, LR4 1500Hz + top end EQ (passive), H 0-90deg
